Step 1: Prep Your Canvas

For the smoothest results, shave the area where you’ll place your tattoo. Then grab an alcohol wipe, makeup remover wipe, or a cotton pad with rubbing alcohol and exfoliate the spot for about 30 seconds. Let it dry completely — give it a solid 60 seconds. This preps your skin so the tattoo sticks and develops perfectly.

Step 2: Apply & Set It

First, peel off the clear film from your tattoo. Place the tattoo flat on your skin (design side down). Grab a wet towel — and I mean wet wet. Press firmly for 30 seconds to 1 minute, making sure every edge sticks. Need a hand? Bring a friend to help press it down evenly. Carefully peel off the paper backing… and boom, your tattoo is on! Now just relax and let the magic develop.

Step 3: Let It Develop

For the best results, keep your tattoo covered for the first 3–4 hours (a long sleeve or a piece of parchment paper works great). Try not to touch or play with it while it’s settling in. When it’s time to sleep, covering it again helps it develop evenly overnight.

You’ll notice the design slowly getting darker over the next day — and after 48 hours, boom, it’s fully developed with that dark, real tattoo look. Congrats, you’re basically your own tattoo artist!

Do Stepsyy products expire?

Stepsyy non-permanent tattoos have a shelf life of 9 months.

However, we do recommend that you store your tattoos in a cool & dry area. Please ensure the tattoo is not stored in direct sunlight or high temperature conditions as this can reduce the shelf life/quality of your ink.

How long will my tattoo last?

Your Stepsyy tattoo will last up to 14 days. 

The lifetime of your tattoos depends on size, placement, application and daily activity.

I love it but how can I get it off?

How to remove a Stepsyy tattoo?

As our Stepsyy temporary tattoos sink into the first layer of the skin, there is no way to take it off prematurely. Your tattoo will begin to naturally fade away as the skin cells begin to regenerate (occurs after roughly 1-2 weeks), once this occurs, you can begin to GENTLY scrub off your tattoo.

You can wash and exfoliate daily to encourage the tattoo to fade, however as Stepsyy is made to last - it can take some time.

With this in mind don’t wash and scrub too excessively as your skin is sensitive!
